The Air O Swiss 2055A Air Washer provides humidification and air purification to areas up to 600 square feet. Disks, which never need replaced, rotate around to pull up water that has been purified to humidify the room's air.
How does the Air O Swiss 2055A Air Washer work?

The pre-ionizer charges particles (down to 1.5 microns) as they enter the air washer.

The particles form into large dust clusters that cling to the rotating disks.

These particles are then removed as the disks turn through the water.

The disks clean themselves as they turn through the water basin. This self-rinsing and cleaning of the disk impurities operates under the same principles as a fresh rain does to clean outdoor rain.
Maintenance: The Air O Swiss 2055A Air Washer comes equipped with a Hydro Stick, which helps keep the Air Washer operating at a high level between cleanings. Generally speaking, cleaning needs to be done once a year with Air O Swiss EZCal Cleaner & Descaler, however some choose to clean more often. The Hydro Stick should also be replaced once a year.
