The Air O Swiss 7017 Hydro Stick helps keep Air O Swiss Humidifiers and Air Washers running at optimal performance levels between cleanings. The Hydro Stick works whether your units is turned on or off. The Hydro Stick should be replaced once a year. At that time, a cleaning of your humidifier or air washer is recommended.
Installation instructions: Installation of the Hydro Stick varies based on your model. The metal clip can be removed in all models except for AOS 1355N, AOS 2055A, AOS 2055 and AOS 2055D.
Does the Hydro Stick indicate when it should be changed?
The Hydro Stick comes with an indicator sticker that can be placed on the outside of your humidifier or air washer. Write down the month and date of installation. Replace one year after installation date.
Does the Hydro Stick need cleaned?
No, the Hydro Stick does not need to be cleaned, nor should it. If you desire to clean your humidifier or air washer with anything other than water, first remove the Hydro Stick. Replace the Hydro Stick after cleaning.
