Air O Swiss Ultrasonic Humidifiers require a changing out of the demineralization cartridge granules to insure the humidifier is extracting all the minerals out of the water as it humidifies the air. Air O Swiss recommends that you replace the cartridges granules every 2-3 months, however if your water is "hard" you will need to change it more frequently.

Air O Swiss Model 7533 includes 3 refill demineralization packages. Simply empty out the demineralization granules in your current cartridge and replace them with one package of refill demineralization granules. If your cartridge needs replaced, Air O Swiss packages a new cartridge with granules for resale (AOS 7531).
