The Brabantia Heat Pad is made from a heat resistant plastic that can withstand temperatures up to 428 degrees Fahrenheit or 220 degrees Celsius. To clean, use a damp cloth. For safe use, only use the Brabantia heat pad on an ironing table. Never use it on any surface that is not heat-resistant. Do not leave iron on the Brabantia heat pad for an extended periods of time. Do not leave iron on heat pad unattended. Note: keep in mind that the plastic heat pad will get very hot while in use. Therefore, it is recommended that you be very careful moving it around while using the Brabantia heat pad or after you turn your iron off. It will take a little while to cool down.
