The Cape Cod basket weave doormat has a fresh and elegant appeal that resembles a woven basket. They hold up to the heaviest traffic to trap dirt, mud, snow and sand.  Cape Cod Doormats are handcrafted from custom made, top quality polypropylene cordage and are mildew and insect resistant. They are also reversible, washable, colorfast, resistant to saltwater, and float in water.  Perfect for pool areas and boats.

    Cape Cod rug

    I was very disappointed and returned this product. The material used to make these rugs has changed. The material now used has an unnatural feel and appearance. I returned the rugs and cannot recommend tham. But the return process was simple and the gentleman who helped me was very nice.

    The doormat is sturdy and I can see that it would last a really long time and be an effective dirt trap at the door. However, it is 1" thick, and my door could not open over it, so I had to return it. Also, the internet color Palomino appears to be a neutral tan, but the actual product had a pink cast to it which did not go with our decor at all.
