How the iHeater Infrared Heater works:
1) The powerful infrared PTC heating element is ignited and cold air is brought into the heater. iHeater uses an exclusive Quartz coated titanium metal, rather than traditional glass tubes, to produce a longer lasting heating element. iHeater Infrared Heaters have an expected life of 60,000 hours (or approximately 5 years)

2.) The infrared PTC heating element warms the cold air inside of the patented cured copper heating chamber.

3.) Heat from the cured copper heating chamber rides the humidity in the room providing moist, soft heat without reducing oxygen or humidity
