The Pre Filter for IQAir HealthPro Series models should be replaced every 6-18 months depending on the amount of particulate matter that the IQAir purifier has to filter on a daily basis. IQAir Pre Filters for the HealthPro series have a 85% ASHRAE high accumulation rating and filters up to a 55% efficiency at 0.003 microns.
The pre filter is the first filter in all HealthPro models. It is designed to filter out larger particulate matter, such as pollen, dust mites, etc. Further filtration up to 99.7% of all particulate matter down to 0.003 is completed when the air runs through the HyperHEPA filter.
