If you are trying to light a charcoal grill you have two different options. 1.)Standard method or 2.) Fast Forward BBQ method! (NOTE: use good-quality charcoal for best performance)
Standard Method
1.) Use good quality charcoal
2.) Pile charcoal into a pyramid
3.) Plug in the LooftLighter and point the LooftLighter's tip so it is near the base of the charcoal pyramid
4.) Press the button to start. Hold in place until a flame appears. This will take 1 minute at the most.
5.) If you have a large pile of charcoal you may need to light it in multiple areas
6.) Then wait 20-30 minutes for your charcoal to burn down and turn grey. Then you are ready to go!
Fast Forward BBQ Method
Steps 1-4 same as above
5.) Once the charcoal is burning, hold the LooftLighter 4-8 inches away from the charcoal
6.) Proceed to hold the button down until the charcoal has burned down to a grey color. Approximately 5-6 minutes
7.) Start Barbequing!
