Malathion used to be bottled by Ortho, but they stopped packaging it for retail sale. Bonide decided to pick up the consumer demand for this specific insecticide. Malathion is an effective control against many insects: including aphids, spider mites and boxelder, as well as a wide range of other sucking and chewing insects that attack fruits, vegetables, ornamentals, trees and shrubs. Malathion is also an effective control against mosquitoes and small flying insects.
Mixing ratio: 1-4 tsp. per gallon of water (varies depending on the crop and pest)
