Miele S6 canisters are the newest addition to Miele's impressive vacuum lineup.  Replacing the popular S4 line-up, these vacuum still offer a compact and lightweight design, but feature some improvements to the floor tools as well as the motor and canister components.  Here are some of the unique Miele S6 features:

 

Sealed System Construction:  The S6 series provides the maximum protection for indoor air quality with its Sealed System canister.  The S6 canister features the same clean air benefits as the S5 series, just in a more compact and lightweight design.  Miele's Sealed System combines the best raw materials, 9-layer electrostatically-charged filtering dustbags, and the first certified HEPA filters (most models) to make the air escaping the motor clean and safe to breathe.  In fact, Miele S6 vacuums have been proven to effective capture and retain 99.99% of particles down to 0.3 micron in size!  These vacuums are great for households with young children, elderly, or individuals with allergies.

 

Redesigned Motor:  Miele S6 series canisters feature a new low-noise, 1200-watt, Vortex Motor.  This motor still has all of the power of its predecessor, yet runs even quieter.  With the addition of the Sealed System construction and rubber sealed compartments, these vacuums are the quietest, most powerful Miele vacuums to date.  Motor has 6 different suction controls, which allow you to find the right suction for any job, from carpets to floors, to baseboards, furniture, and drapes.

 

Lightweight Skeleton Construction:  This series is the most lightweight and compact vacuums available.  The canister weighs only 9 pounds.  Combine that with the compact size (17" x 11" x 9"), you will be able to carry, push, and pull these vacuums where ever they are needed, making the task of house cleaning more enjoyable.

 

Comfort Cord Rewind:  New on the S6 canister vacuums is an automatic cord rewind.  This comfort cord rewind pulls the power cord all the way in with the single touch of a button.  This is a nice feature that you appreciate even more once you have tried it!
