Why should I choose the Miele Topaz over another Miele model?

The Miele Topaz is ideal for anyone who has a combination of hard surfaces and carpeted surfaces to vacuum.  The SEB217-3 Electro Brush head is capable of vacuming low, medium and high pile carpeting.  The only type of rug that I would avoid with the SEB217-3 head would be delicate area rugs, such as oriental rugs.  The SBB300-3 Parquet Twister Floor Tool is the ideal compliment to the SEB217-3.  The SBB300-3 Parquet Twister head is ideal for hardwood floors, since it features soft bristle hairs on the bottom of the head to prevent scratching on any hard surface you would need to vacuum.  In addition, the Parquet Twister has up to a 180 degree twistable neck to make for easy cleaning around and under all furniture.

The Miele Topaz comes standard with an Air Clean Air Filter.  The air filtration achieved with this filter is suitable for anyone without sensitivity to dust and other indoor allergens.  If you suffer from dust or any other indoor air born allergen, I would suggest upgrading this models air filter to a HEPA filter (AH-50 HEPA filter), or look to purchase a different Miele Vacuum cleaner that comes equipped with a HEPA filter.  The Miele Topaz with an upgraded HEPA filter is essentially the Miele Libra Vacuum minus the improvements made to the motor, which make it run slightly quieter.  However, the Miele Libra Vacuum still runs very quiet compared to any other vacuum brand on the market.
