Each application of Mosquito Barrier effectively kills and repels mosquitos for 2-4 weeks (in some cases even longer). Excessive hard rainfall can shorten the products effectiveness. Generally speaking, Mosquito Barrier should be reapplied after 2-3 hard rainfalls or 4 weeks (whichever occurs first).
Mosquito Barrier is derived from over 99% garlic, which is deadly to mosquitos, but completely safe to use around children and pets. When used as directed it is completely safe to be applied to any type of vegetation. After the first day or two, the garlic odor will dissipate to a level that humans cannot detect/smell, but is still very effective at controlling mosquitos.
Mosquito Barrier's Gallon Concentrate is ideal for commercial applications. It can even be applied from the air! Mosquito Barrier can also be used to repel armadillos, deer, filed mice, yard fleas, ticks and geese!
Application: Use a tank sprayer, backpack sprayer or hose end sprayer. Dilute Mosquito Barrier at a rate of 8 Teaspoons/gallon water for light infestations and 16 tsp/gallon of water for heavy infestations. For best application spray between 8am-11am or 5pm-8pm. Do not spray if rain is predicted to fall in the next 48 hours. Use warm water if possible. Shake well.
Where To Spray: Designed to be sprayed on all types of foliage, grass, shrubs, weeds, trees and standing water in specified land areas (yard). Can also be applied to areas that collect standing water, such as depressions in the earth and under porches, decks, gutters and muddy banks, etc.
