Detailed Description
If you have ever had a hammock before you were probably not happy with it's comfort level or mildew resistance. The reason is that traditionally the rope used to make these hammocks is made from either cotton or a polypropelene. Polypropelene is mildew and rot resistant, but not very comfortable. Cotton is comfortable, but rots, mildews and stains easily.
Pawley's Island has come up with a solution! Pawley's Island DuraCord Hammocks are made of a special Dura Cord that is both soft and comfortable along with resisting mildew, rotting, staining and fading. If it needs cleaned, a bleach solution can be used without risking fading or discoloring of the hammock!
Pawley's Island DuraCord Hammocks are made from one continuous run of three-ply, twisted rope. The spreader bars are triple dipped in a spar vanish to ensure they maintain their color and strength. The speader bars are also angled in such a way to promote a gradual rocking of the hammock. Includes top of the line mounting hardware.
