Rescue's stink bug light has been designed to attach to the top of their outdoor stink bug trap.  The blue LED lights naturally attract stink bugs to the trap without the use of Rescue's outdoor lure.  Stink bugs will die of dehydration making removal of the stink bugs from the trap as easy as opening the trap and dumping the stink bugs in the trash!

The Stink Bug Light can be powered by the AC/DC adapter or through an optional battery pack for areas not close to an outlet.  Battery pack requires 2 - AA batteries (not included).

Where should I place the stink bug trap?

Place the stink bug trap with LED light attachment in a dark area of your home in close proximity to where you are noticing most of the stink bugs in your home.

NOTE: The trap doesn't have to be placed in an area that is dark 24/7.  The stink bug trap with LED light will work effectively with just night time hours, but make sure the area you select to place the trap has no competing source of light during dark hours of the day.

When should I start using the Stink Bug Light on my Stink Bug Trap?

Rescue's Stink Bug Trap with LED light will be most effective indoors between the months of October and April.

I have installed a stink bug trap with the light in our sun room which faces southwest and has been our problem room as far as stink bugs go. I also have a trap installed outside with the pherome bait. The outside trap does have several stink bugs in it and I percieve that it has reduced the quantity of bugs in the sun room. However, not one stink bug has yet to enter the lighted trap. I do turn off the lights in the sun room after sun down and tried hanging it on the wall and placing it on the floor. I do have a small shop vacuum that I use to vacuum stink bugs up as they appear, and I do admit they have been fewer in number than last year. So one can assume that at least the outside trap is reducing the number.

There are many stink bug [...]
