Rescue's Stink Bug Trap with LED light attachment provides year long control of stink bugs.  Use outdoors during the months of May through September to catch stink bugs before they attempt to enter your home.  Use the stink bug trap with LED light attachment indoors during the months of October to April.

The LED light has been designed to attach to the top of Rescue's outdoor stink bug trap.  The blue LED lights naturally attract stink bugs to the trap without the use of Rescue's outdoor lure.  For control of stink bugs outdoors, use the lure instead of the LED light.  In both cases, stink bugs will get trapped and then die of dehydration making removal of the stink bugs from the trap as easy as opening the trap and dumping the stink bugs in the trash!

Stink Bug Light can be powered by either the AC/DC adapter or by the battery pack.  Battery pack requires 2 - AA batteries (not included)

Note: Stink bug trap and LED light comes with a 2-week lure for outdoor use.  If you plan on using the trap outdoors, you may want to consider purchasing additional 7-week Stink Bug Lure packages.  If you are using the trap indoors, you will not need any lure.  The LED light is the lure.

When catching stink bugs indoors, where should I place the stink bug trap?

Place the stink bug trap with LED light attachment in a dark area of your home in close proximity to where you are noticing most of the stink bugs in your home.

NOTE: The trap doesn't have to be placed in an area that is dark 24/7.  The stink bug trap with LED light will work effectively with just night time hours, but make sure the area you select to place the trap has no competing source of light during dark hours of the day.

When catching stink bugs outdoors, where should I place my stink bug trap for best results?

Late Spring to Summer:  For best results place stink bug traps in or around foliage, 10-30 feet from your house.  Ideal places to hang the trap from include: a tree, fence, or stake.  During the summer months stink bugs are at a stage in their life cycle in which they can't fly, so for best results place the trap so that the green wings of the trap are touching the foliage of surrounding plants.

Early Spring and Fall:  Before plants have filled in and once most plants are harvested or cut back, place the stink bug traps approximately 10 feet away from your house.  This will maximize the effectiveness of the trap to catch stink bugs before they enter you home for the winter.

For outdoor control, how many traps will I need to protect my house from stink bugs?

Multiple traps may be necessary to protect your house from stink bugs.  The traps will protect up to a 30 foot radius in all directions, however large objects will prevent the pheromone from traveling any further.  For best results, place one trap on all four side of your home.

This indoor unit works well when placed in a room with no light.

Advantages: It is easy to clean up after the unit is full.

Disadvantages: Because there are less stink bugs around this year than last year, it is difficult to say if the unit will work when there is some light in the room.
