Weber Flavorizer Bars

Weber Flavorizer Bars

Over time Weber's Flavorizer Bars will wear down and burn through. The great part about Weber is that they sell replacement parts for all of their grills. Your grill either came with porcelain enameled or stainless steel flavorizer bars. Porcelain enameled are less expensive, but wear down faster. Once the Procelain coat gets chipped it exposes the steel frame of the bars. The steel then will start to rust and eventually break down. If you are looking for a better alternative, Weber carries stainless steel flavorizer bars for all of their grill models. The stainless steel will hold up much better over time.

To get the maximum amount of life out of your Weber Flavorizer Bars make sure to brush off the grease and grime that builds up on the bars from time to time. This will prevent any flair ups on your flavorizer bars, which can wear down the bars. If you feel like really getting them clean you can soak them is hot water and dish soap or amonium.
