    Rack Sack

I wish they would have just repeated the design of the old one. New measurements must be made to accommodate this model. The lid will not stay open on it's own. The hint of using a vice grips to twist the top hook doesn't work well, The pocket in the lid for the extra bags is a waste of space and makes the lid heavy, maybe that's why it won't stay open. It's cumbersome to get the new bag on the back edge under the lid. I did finally get it installed and using it. I wish the old design was left in place. I looked for this brand specially because I was very pleased with the one I had. .

    RACK SACK KITCHEN FRAME-5 GALLON

Posted by Geralyn on Jun 22nd 2023

I just purchased this to replace my 25 year old one I loved. This one, not as much. I will still use it many times a day, but the current configuation of the rack has changed and where you secure the bags to the rack isn't in as conveniet a position and the bottom support now allows the bag to "fall through" a bit and has to be juggled to lift it out without tearing the bag..

I had one of these for many years. It finally had enough punishment and I needed a new one. They work perfectly under kitchen sink. I'm so glad I could find one. I really appreciate the space for holding extra bags.

    Pretty good bag rack

We replaced our rack sack that was about 20 years old. Good quality. One thing we like about the old design was the lid was lighter and would stay open. This kid has the built in storage which we don’t use anyway and the lid must be held open or it shuts due to its weight. Inconvenient when you’re cleaning up after a meal and just want the garbage left open for a few minutes.
